Start here!!!

Welcome!

[TLDR: scroll down to the video!]

I'm Tess, and I'm a self-taught watercolour artist alllll about making watercolour fun and easy (even if you don’t think you can paint!).

I'm gonna be teaching you all the things that I’ve learnt through years of trial and error - saving you time (and lots of the error!) so you can just jump straight into painting and gain confidence quickly!

Full disclosure: I'm not going to be talking about ‘proper technique’, but I’m going to teach you all of the things that I WISH I knew when I got started waaaay back when.

In fact, you can think of me as your Watercolour Fairy Godmother, ha!

I'm gonna teach you the three techniques I WISH I knew when I got started with watercolour - because knowing them would have saved me a lot of time trying to work out what I was doing, why certain things weren't working and how to recreate the stuff that did work!

So, I'm going to teach you three techniques that I use all the time with watercolour.

They're the first things that you need to learn and we're gonna put those techniques into practice to paint leaves and flowers (yay!).

I'm also gonna show you what supplies you even need, and how I set up my workspace to paint (so that I don't knock too many things over, or sip from my paint brush tooooo many times).

Although I do still drop my brush all the time, ha!

Alrighty, let's get painting!
